Myria flicked her ear, listening for anything in the vicinity.
So...you are not trying to imitate our Alpha...what exactly are you up to then? Wolves are not meant to be in trees...there are, however, some exceptions. Like I said, if you do not wish to talk, I will leave you be. I was simply concerned for you.

Koda shuffled his paws. You know how Rever brought in that bear cub?

Myria nodded at the male.
Yes, she brought it in for the pack to eat. What about it?

Well. I've had a little run-ins with cubs before when I was a pup and..... I'm living like a cub to honor it's life. He stood there and waited for her to lecture him. Again.

Myria tilted her head at Koda's words. Interesting...
Hm..I can't say I've ever heard of a predator doing that before; however, I will let you in on a secret. Well, it's my own secret. Whenever I bring down a kill, I always thank the prey for their life. My old pack respected their environment, even their prey.

Koda sighed. Here we go again with the lecturing. Look. This is the only that I know to get the bears spirit off the Earth. When it's gone, I'm going to lay low for awhile and...... Well. And do stuff.

Myria felt her ears flatten.
I was not lecturing you, pup. I respect your decision as it is your own personal belief. Personally, that cub's spirit has long since left the earth. The beta stood and stretched.
I'm heading off for a small patrol, so feel free to do what you wish. I know that Revera likely spoke to you, and I have an idea of what she would have said. I won't lecture you, but if you decide to return, you will need to attend to your responsibilities. I'm heading off now. With that Myria turned and left the ravine.
Doing stuff huh? I guess we'll see what you're up to...

Koda huffed and stood tall. One more day. He muttered. One more day. He padded back to the tree and tore up another root. He chomped it down before he debated a way to get back up into the tree.

Myria made her way into the ravine yet again. Spotting Koda gazing up at the tree, the timber female silently closed in on him. She sat down on her haunches. Koda had yet to even notice her. The grey wolf placed the leg on the snow before she looked around. Her keen molten eyes saw no threats, so she smirked mischievously at Koda's back.
In a fluid movement, she had sprung at him from her sitting position and latched her forelegs onto his flank. She knew he would likely be scared half to death, but that was the point. If he wouldn't listen to Myria the beta, maybe he would listen to Myria the Grey Phantom.

Koda yowled when someone leapt at his back. He laid crouched under his attacker shaking uncontrolably. Unable to control himself, he peed.

Myria immediately backed away from Koda as the strong scent of male urine assailed her sensitive nose.
That was not what I was expecting...I apologize Koda. However, I believe you now know that being out here alone is dangerous. If something really did attack you, you would have been dead.

Koda swung around and faced Myria. He pinned his ears and looked away, embarassed. Hehe, sorry. Why did you come back?

Myria smiled slightly.
I told you I was concerned for you. Miranda and Destiny brought in some rabbits. I knew you would be hungry since those roots are likely to give you a belly ache...I brought you a leg. she stepped back to reveal the rabbit leg and waited to see if he would accept it.

Koda eyed the leg and took a step forward to sniff it. He backed away and whined. But... I..... I can't.

Bears catch prey as well. Their mothers bring them what they catch. Who's to say you can't? By the way, I'm keeping you company until you return to the den. Myria stated as she sat down.
