(Hey, sorry I'm so late about posting. I've been overwhelmed with a lot of personal events.)
Sigurd waited till the trial was completed as well as the disciplinary trial of Kit. After the proceedings, he stepped forward slowly and looked at the congregated wolves. "If there aren't any other means to be discussed, I would like to discuss the idea I had about going to one of the edges of our territory we share with the King's and attempting to have a meeting with Nuka about the kidnapping. I know its a very dangerous idea, but I figure by meeting with him one on one to work out some means of honorable guidelines to this war, we can save both sides unnecessary blood shed. Otherwise, if they retaliation and take another one of our members, we'll respond with no hesitation. It will be a continuous cycle of death on both parts." Sigurd said as he looked around the congregation.
Sigurd grinned at everyone, winking at his mate, "But, if I wind up dead, the amount of blood shed Revera will cause in revenge will make them think twice about an honorable means to this war."

"Truer words have never been spoken." The alpha barked with complete seriousness. She arced her tail high over her back and stood. "I believe this is a good oppertunity to see what our enemy is made of but I hate the risk we put you at Sigurd. If you do go I will not allow you to go alone." Her eyes passed to Rayne. This was a very important and dangerous mission. "Rayne, call your mate and Myria. I want everyone present."

Rayne circled around and let out a howl, Kiba, we need you.
She turned back to look at Sigurd, Sorry to burst your plan, but I believe you are taking far too much stock in the honor of our enemies. The females of your pack fought them and not without a price. From what I've seen, Nuka won't talk to you and he will kill you if you go alone. You may be strong Sigurd, but he is stronger and there is nothing saying he won't have his pack hiding in the shadows to attack you. It is too dangerous.

"That's why I insist he can't go alone. This is like testing the waters before dropping in. I want to know if there is a scrap of honor anywhere in that pack. I wouldn't dare send a messenger but a warrior has a better chance of living. "
"I would rip their pelt off if they hurt him." She barked confidently.

Rayne's crystal eyes took in her friend, Even if you are willing to avenge him, he will still be either severally injured or dead. It seems too dangerous to me.

"Then what do you propose?" Revera barked with her head cocked to the side. "What Sigurd said was valid."

Rayne inhaled looking towards the borders of their territory, If we can't trust them, then we have no reason to be trustworthy ourselves.
The beta's crystal eyes gleamed wickedly, They will expect a full out front line war from us. They will expect us to take the honorable route, but sometimes, honor will get you killed. I suggest we trap them.

" I have always been more partial of the gurella warfare. We already have the bears in the wings. Is there something else you had in mind?"

I'm saying to set traps for them. I remember my mother warning me about human traps when I was a pup. They would dig holes, deep holes and trap our kind so we couldn't climb out. What do you think?

"We're coming up on winter. The ground would be too hard to dig and we wouldn't be able to get out ourselves if we managed to dig that far." Revera pointed out.

Rayne tilted her head trying to grasp what Revera was saying. She looked around at her pack's faces before sighing, Whatever the pack wants, we'll do.

"We need Kiba and Myria here before we decide anything." Revera padded to the edge of the council and gazed around with a slightly irritated flick of the ear. She threw her head high and howled.
"Myria!, Kiba, we need you here!"

Myria bolted towards the council, her muscles had long stopped protesting. The beta saw her alpha and smiled sheepishly. Forgive me, Revera. I lost track of time. I was caught up in the woods.

"Well that's one." Revera barked with an irritated sweep of her tail. "Kiba must be off the territory. Looking for his brother again." The red wolf sighed and dipped her head before addressing Myria.
"I need your take on this. Sigurd wants to go and work out some guide lines for the war with the Kings. I think it's a brilliant oppertunity to gauge our enemies but it's very dangerous. Rayne believes they will attack and I'm inclined to agree but I still think that this is a risk we have to take. What do you think?"
