Shadow spun around and faced Myria. Stop don't scare her! She pleaded.

Myria glanced at Shadow, slightly surprised that Shadow had taken such affinity for the newcomers.
It was not entirely my intention to startle her...you know we are impending great change, Shadow. Other wolves are hard to trust nowadays. Chase, Luna, and Shadow, please return to the den. Kit is ill, I believe you may wish to go see her, and when I left she was asking for you. As well, Kiba may require more assistance, so you should be there to assist the other adults.
Upon seeing their wary faces, the beta chuckled.
Do not worry, I will not kill, maim, or eat your friends. I will catch up to you later. I simply need more information from these wolves.
Turning her attention back to the two wolves, she asked her next question. Where did each of you come from? Did you travel here together?

Shadow whimpered a protest. But- She didn't finish her sentence.

Spirit shook her head.
I met Shadow just today. I was not traveling with her. I used to live in the west, but things happen and I needed to leave.
Spirit spoke directly to Myria with more confidence.

I see. What things? The beta glanced at Shannon, who had yet to speak.

Spirit lowered her gaze to the ground, all the confidence seeping out of her quickly as the memories of her parents death invaded her mind.
The death of my parents.. I watched them get murdered Spirit said quietly, her ears and tail lowering.

Myria sighed heavily. Such things are difficult, but she needs to learn how to turn that fear and trauma into strength...how on earth did she survive on her own? the beta mused.
Are you aware that there are two other packs in this area?

Spirit shook her head.
I was unaware that this was a taken territory, I noticed the scents yes, but I had guessed that it was a social area. Not a territory.

Myria stifled a snort. A social area? What sort of pack did she hail from? No matter...
There are three packs in this area: my pack, the Shadow Keepers, the Mountain Valley pack, and the Kings of the Forest. My pack is in conflict currently, and we have just taken on a few new wolves...we are over-burdened as it is simply trying to get everyone on the same footing. Mountain Valley seems to be willing to accept wolves, if they are useful. All of their members are friendly, and they could use assistance. If you are feeling more...courageous, I would tell you to see the Kings. Those two packs would be more willing to accept you, if you prove your worth. That is my advice to you, Spirit.
The timber Beta glanced at Shannon, who remained quiet. I suppose I'll interrogate her once she decides to speak again.
Myria returned her glowing eyes to Spirit, wondering which course she would choose to take.

Spirit thought for a second before speaking.
With their names alone it sounds like the mountain pack lives near the mountains, thats good in the summer and spring but horrible for fall and winter. The kings sound like a forest pack. I think I will go with the kings. I prefer living in the forest to the mountains. Can you please show me the direction to their territory?

Of course. We share two areas with the Kings...the lake and the Mountains. You may choose either of those to transition into their territory. I wish you safe travels. Myria pointed her muzzle in each respective direction, allowing Spirit the option of choosing where she was to leave.
Myria watched the younger female turn and pad away.
I hope you find what you're seeking, Spirit. With a silent wisp of hope for the wolf, Myria focused her attention to Shannon.

Thank you Miss Myria. I wish you the best of luck in your travels as well.
Spirit lowered her head in acknowledgement. She raised her head and started padding away towards the river, hoping she made the right choice.
(what do I do now?)

(Put "Transition-where you're heading) in brackets like that.
Example: (Transition-King's Lake) and then you go to the King's boards, and post in the correct are (lake). They should reply to your post soon. You can put that you're wandering, looking for members of that pack so you can hopefully join. Something along those lines.

Shannon paused as she watched the others leave. In all honesty I had no idea where I was until a few moments ago. I ran away from my old pack that lived in the east in the hope of finding a new one. I however got lost and then I found chase. She backed away a little. I'm sorry if i'm not wanted in your territory. I never meant to be here.
