Revera stalked up to her beta with a playful challenge in her eyes. "Are your skills still sharp my friend?" The alpha barked dropping down into an attack stance.

Rayne stepped out of the shadows, blue eyes glistening, We shall have to find out, friend.
She dropped into a similar stance.

Revera began to circle her beta slowly. Her ears were perked for any sound that would alert her of Rayne's sudden shadow moves. The black wolf was barely outlined against the deep shadows of the forest.
"All the more fun." The alpha growled with a smile.

Myria saw her alpha in the clearing, and she caught scent of Rayne, but she couldn't tell where she was. Figuring the two friends were mock fighting, the beta sat at the edge and decided to watch for now.
No point disturbing them too much.

Rayne's eyes flicked to Myria and she wondered if Revera had brought a friend to fight her. So you need a twosome to defeat me now Revera? All right then, let's play. Rayne called out playfully.

"I just thought you needed more of a challenge." Revera winked before leaping at her friend. She closed the distance between them easily and only meant for a hold. This was Myria's first time fighting Rayne and she wanted her to get her times worth. The alpha aimed for the arc of Rayne's neck so she could tuck her legs around the forleg and block mobility.
(works on my dog lol. Thought I would give it a try )

Rayne braced herself knowing Revera was the only one in the pack quicker than her. The black female backed up, weaving in and out of the shadows in an attempt to circle around and attack her alpha from the back.

Revera kept her target in sight spinning with her. She felt trapped in a spinner the way the blue eyes bounced among the shadows. If I was trying to hurt I would spring at them but this is just a hold. I shouldn't bother slashing.
She growled and charged just to the left of her friend hoping to pass her far enough to get the bite on the midnight scruff.

Rayne had to walk over herself, nearly tripping when Revera cut her off. Instead of running, Rayne lowered her head in an attempt to latch onto the smaller female's chest.

Revera took the punishing bite of the shadow walker. There was no way she could dodge from such close proximity. The alpha nipped at Rayne's already ragged ear and worked her teeth down until aiming for just behind the black wolf's cheek. If she could get that then she could work on breaking herself free from Rayen's grip.
Any time Myria... The red wolf thought sullenly.

Rayne groaned at the pain which shot down her body from her torn ear. The black female looked around, noticing Myria hadn't helped, so in a quick motion, she lifted her head and flipped Revera behind her.

Revera was airborne a moment with the force of her beta's move. She came down hard on her hip with a thud. The force had broken her hold on the black wolf's ear and left her vulnerable.
Crap, how can I run on that? She thought wincing as she worked back to her paws. She knew Rayne wouldn't attack an unarmed wolf. Quick as she could she was standing once more.

Rayne hadn't meant to throw her so far. The black wolf came closer, not in fighting stance and asked, Are you all right?

Revera smiled and licked her her beta's chin. "I'm fine. But it looks like you win. How's your ear?"

Rayne twisted her ear back and felt a shot of pain go through, Not bad. I thought you were supposed to have help in this one.
