Rayne stepped out into the freshly lain snow, sniffing around to make sure they were alone. Her keen eyes picked out a perfect circle like pattern of trees and she climbed up onto her favorite boulder to wait for her pupils to make themselves known.

Kit walked in, her bright blue eyes scanning her surroundings, wondering what Rayne had in store for them. She sat down in front of the boulder, waiting for her friends to join her.

Rayne smiled down at Kit, Since the others aren't as quick, you and I will go first. Kit, you already possess the speed, but what you lack is the foresight to apply it to its best capability.
The black wolf leapt down from her perch, Your gray coat will make it easier for you to blend in with the snow. The others will have a more difficult time, but that doesn't mean it will be easy. One of the most important things with assassination is moving so silently that you are a shadow so this is what I want you to do. I'm going to turn away and wait in the middle of this circle, I want you to go out, run around for a bit and attempt to tackle me. Understand?

Kit nodded. "Okay." She instantly darted off into the trees and silenced her breathing. She backed into a shadow, keeping her figure hidden. She moved swiftly around the clearing and came up to Rayne's back. Quietly, Kit made her way way towards Rayne's back. She crouched and then ran at full speed, using the soft snow to her advantage. Just before she leapt, Kit accidently shifted the snow. She hoped that Rayne hadn't heard that.

Rayne inhaled, closing her eyes and taking in all the scents around her. Her heart slowed, her breathing became almost non-existent and she waited for Kit to attack.
Her ear twitched when she heard the shifting of snow and the black female dipped her head quickly allowing Kit to leap over her.

Kit hiffed as she flew over Rayne's head. In a swift motion, she ruffled up the snow, causing a grey white snowy mist around her. Kit moved backwards again, hiding once again in the trees. The snow settled and Kit held her breathing, trying to see what other ways to get to Rayne.

Rayne kept her eyes closed, but a small smile formed on her face, Nice attempt, but try this instead. Focus not only on your breathing, but where your paws are settling. Keep me in the corner of your eye, but instead focus on where you are stepping. Become part of the earth and use it to your advantage.

Balo approached slowly, watching the way his mom and Kit trained. He stayed towards the back, not wanting to interrupt and from here he could take in everything. His multi-colored eyes watched as his mom sat in one place, her eyes closed....what was she doing?
Then, before he could realize what was happening, Kit flew from the trees and Balo's heart leapt with her. She was going to take down mom! But in the last second Rayne's head dipped and Kit flew past her.
Balo sat and marveled. Half from the skill of his mother and the other from the way Kit looked even more pretty when she was focused....

Kit's eyes flickered to Balo who seemed to be watching. Her first try didn't go so well. She would try again. Kit slowed her breathing and closed her eyes for a moment...focusing. I can do this! Kit opened her bright blue eyes and slid over the snow in the shadows, silently. Be a shadow. Kit took to the shadows, hiding herself. She eyed the spot where the white snow appeared the same colour as her pelt and silently darted there, keeping Rayne within her her range of vision. She crouched low and stalked forward, keeping her tail and breath still. She moved up to Rayne's back and froze. She watched as Rayne's ears flickered searching for noise. Before Rayne could smell her, Kit used her paw to shove the snow at her mentor's face before jumping on Rayne's back, attempting to lock her jaws around her mentor's scruff.

Myria entered the small clearing silently. Sighting Balo, the timber beta sat next to him as she watched Rayne training Kit.

Rayne snarled as she flipped Kit off of her into the snow, Good, but not good enough. Rayne braced herself, You won't be perfect your first time, but you are coming along nicely. All right, who is next?

If there are no objections, I can go next. Myria replied. I wonder if she wanted the young wolves to go first...no matter, I'm sure Rayne will inform me if she has any preferences.

Rayne looked to Myria and cleared her throat, Myria, you and I both know you don't need any help with blending and moving strategically. I was referring to the younger wolves.
The black female walked closure and lowered her voice, Though I do have a favor to ask of you. Chase has disobeyed orders twice now, if it were up to me he would be out of this pack. But since you were the first party wronged, I will leave it in your paws. Go to the den and speak your mind, all right?

Kit gasped as she landed on the ground. Oh Alpha! She got up and frowned. WHy couldn't she get it right? Kit moved to sit next to Balo and Luna, sighing. Oh well....she did try. Her ears perked up at the mention of Chase's name. Wasn't he that wolf that had played with them so long ago?

Rayne looked back to Kit seeing that she was silently simmering at her inability to take her down. She stood over the smaller wolf, her voice coming out stern, but proud, The movements you've seen I have had to perfect not only for self-improvement, but for survival. Long before I came to this pack, I had to fight to make my way. You however have the natural talent I wasn't blessed with. With proper training and determination...
Her blue eyes took in her apprentice, You will be glorious.
Her eyes then shifted to her pups, Who is next?
