Kit raced into the clearing, loving the way she was free to run. She stopped abrubtly and checked to see the pretty wolf was still following behind her...
"Cash?" She asked, tentatively.

Cash easily kept up with the graceful female. Her bright orange eyes glowed in the falling light. Her nose prickef as rhe smell of a thunder path grew near.
She was about to comment when Kit glanced back at her shyly. "Yes Kit?" The omega barked.

Kit smiled warmly and then lifted her nose into the air, smelling hard. "Well, you probably know a bit about little Red fluff don't you? She's a sweet little spitfire, determined to become an alpha. Unfortunately, my mother told me it wasn' t possible." Kit shrugged again and quickly turned her head away, the former sting coming back. Then she felt irritated.
How could she become so hurt when she was laughing her tial off not two minutes before?
"What would you like to hunt?" Kit asked, wagging her tail. "I'll hunt something like a bunny for Pip. I guess his new teeth are still pretty sensitive..."

"pups love squirrels." Cash commented eying the trees. "unfortunitely wolves cant climb." She shrugged and sniffed around the base. "gopher, mouse, grouse!" She barked a little at her own foolish joke. Before paddibg a little farther. "i dont know Russle that well, but I do believe everuone has a place. Despite what they want to be. I wanted to be a great fighter but now im a gentle Omega. Life finds a way of telling you what you need."
The black wolf smiled glancing over her shoulder at Kit.

Kit laughed a little at Cash as she kept pace easily. "You wouldn't suit a Warrior, Cash. You're far too gentle. You could keep the pack closely bonded together!" Kit added, cheerfully, her tail wagging lightly. She caught scent of a small animal and ran a little further. Up ahead, she could hear a storm coming. They had to work fast.

Cash nodded hearing the roll if a thunder beasy in the distance. Her teeth bared a little thinkunf of those monsters ans the strange ones in their bellies.
Before she could bark,a hare as big as her chest burst from the surrounding trees. "Threre it goes!" The black wolf barked giving chase.

Kit jumped in surprise but as she saw the fat hare bound away, the thrill built up and she tore after it, using her speed to her advantage. It wasn't long until she passed Cash and continued to give chase.
Kit grinned as she saw the hare dart under some tree roots and then disappeared.
You can hide from a wolf's sight, hare but you can't escape from a wolf's nose! Kit thought, savagely as she tore over the roots and spotted the hare. She failed to notice that the trees were thinning out as the hare made a full blown dash across a wide flat ground.
"YOU'RE MINE!" Kit snarled, adrenaline rushing through her. If it were a deer, she would have happily given chase much more thrilling than this. But a small animal in the dark? Definitely exciting.

"Kit Kit No!!!!" Russle howled as she launched heself out througj the trees. She had tracked Kit this far. It was all too familiar. The dark. The smells. The thunder... The thunder!
"KIT!!!!"
It all moved like a dream. kit ziopped between the vines as thr monster hurtled down. Russle thoyght of nothing as she burst in behind Kit smashing her chest against her mentor and throwing her with firce off the pash just as the monster came by. When the dust settlef Kit was safe and a little red fluff layed unmoving on the ground.

Sky tore after Russle howling his head off.
NO!!!!! He growled. He ran to her side nudging her, sniffing around her.
Come on Russle. Please! Say something!

Kit's ears pricked as she heard RUssle's scream. She heard a screech and looked into a pair of bright lights. A vision flashed before her and Kit tried to stop. "RUSSLE, DOn't-!"
Kit's sentence was cut off as she was suddenly shoved away. The thundering sound passed and Kit jumped to ehr paws.
"RUSSLE!" Kit shrieked, jumping up and bounding towards her student. Her little red fluff. "Russle?" Kit whispered, bringing her muzzle down and nudging her softly.

Sky growled as Kit approached, then remembered his promise to Russle.
Kit. Go to the den, get Myria and Miranda. Whoever you can find. I will carry her back. Please. We came here to rescue you. Now help me save her. Help me get her on my back.
Sky whined pleading with Kit.

Cash caught up in time to see Sky and Kit over the red wolfs body. "Great Stars!" She barked bipassing both of them and placing her nose next to Russles muzzle. A weak breath twitched her whiskers.
"Shes alive." The omega stated, gripping Russle and helping Kit move the large pup.
"Lets get her to Miranda." With that Cash ran ahead toward the den.

Kit looked at Sky and then gave him a gentle smile. "Shh. We'll get her there."
As Sky got Russle on his back, Kit followed closely behind.
RUss? Kit whispered, driting into Russle's mind.

Sky nodded his thanks to Kit and began slowly making his way back to the den. He continued walking at a slow pace, talking gently to Russle.
Hang in there my little alpha. Miranda will help you. He said quietly as his voice hitched. I can't lose you Russle. I just can't. Please don't leave me. I will do anything.. Anything! Just to know you're going to be ok. Oh Russle.. I love you. Please come back to me! He whined as he walked.
