Kit padded into the open wooded area, taking in a deep breath and loving the scent of the forest around her. She waited for Luna to join her.

Luna trotted after Kit,her ears pricked. She stood beside her friend and smiled cheekily at her,bumping her tail with her own. This reminds me of something,though,we were much younger and we weren't here to hunt Luna stated,rolling her shoulders.

Kit grinned. "Doesn't it? Now that you think about it, our childhood had gone by so fast. We're a year old now....aren't normal wolves supposed to be training at this age? We grew up fast...." Kit sighed. Then she looked around and smiled softy. It felt good to be just the two of them. "Do you remember when Misty had those weird spasms? And we sneaked out of Falls den to help her? Then we got REALLY scolded..." Kit laughed. "Think that was my fault though..." SHe shrugged. "Any progress between you and Ky?"

Luna smiled. We did have to grow up rather fast...But that doesn't mean I still don't want to train with my Mentor she barked. I still have so much to learn...I just,never really get the chance to ask Revera,that's all Hearing the memory,she chuckled. Yes,I remember that. Keelah nearly murdered us,and then Misty and Rayne saved us. Remember the time where we first met? We were at the lake,and you tried to save my life Luna blinked,as she pictured her handsome mate,one of her ears pinning. Well,not really...We haven't really had a chance. Everything's so hetic now Rayne and Father..I feel so sorry for them How about yourself and Kovu? she asked,nudging Kit playfully. It was nice to be just Luna and Kit. They never really had this chance,to be out on their own,without any other pack mates.

Kit grinned, eyes sparkling as she searched the environment for any animals that they would be able to hunt. It was nearly spring, so the animals that were sleeping were bound to wake up soon.
"Yes! It was that one lunatic who hurt your paw, wasn't it? And then Rayne and Misty saved us and you held that guilt for a while! Hahaha, THAT was when we really became friends," Kit chuckled, amused. At Luna's response for her mate, Kit shrugged as well.
"Actually, Kovu and I did spend some time together, but I was really busy then. And stupid Sky would annoy the sense out of me!" Kit rolled her bright eyes. "But progressing to bigger things? Nah, not yet!" Kit winked cheekily at her friend. "Although, from what I can see, Balo and Cash are getting reeaally close. You better be expecting little nieces and nephews running around....not that you don't have them already..." Kit teased.

Luna grinned,a sparkle in her eye. Yes,it was. Strange,how we became friends because of a lunatic wolf She threw her head back,scoffing. Pathetic really. Hurting an innocent pup just because I was running after that rabbit he was after She looked back at Kit. Yes,Sky was a little troublesome. But,hopefully he'll realise his wrongs. It's good you and Kovu actually spent time with each other She smiled,until she heard the thing about Cash and Balo. Her eyes narrowed,her tail flicking irritably. Well,you best hope not. At least not yet. I've had a mate longer than Balo,and we haven't tried anything. If they even try.... She trailed off,inhaling deeply.

Kit let out a light laugh, pawing at her friend's irritated face. "Right. I'm guessing you don't trust Cashmere just yet...." Kit grinned, eyes sparkling. "Well, lunatics will be lunatics..."
Kit looked down at her pelt which was turning brown....a disgrace really to her whitish fur. "After we hunt, let's go down to the lake." Kit said, smiling broadly.

Yes,they shall be Luna stated bluntly,staring at Kit's fur,then her white star,that still managed to be a bright white. You are right,I don't really trust Cashmere. But if she does do anything to my brother,she'll have my fangs to answer to she said in a monotone voice. Same goes for Balo. If he hurts Cash,he'll have me to deal with. They aren't going to hurt each other,though I doubt they will She reared up on her hind legs,her upper body falling upon her friend's back. Lake. Sure. I could use a drink. Anyway,I think you need a wash She wrinkled her nose mockingly,winking cheekily at Kit.

Kit grinned at her friend and started a little trot with Luna still halfway on her back. "Well, if BOTH of them hurt each other, we can take turn biting their tails off." Kit said, cheerfully. "Before heading to the lake to wash off the remains of my awesomeness, we need to hunt something. Nothing too big...maybe a few rabbits? Or a young deer?"

Luna laughed,walking on her hind legs,Kit's body balancing her out. She twisted her head so she could see ahead,and at least see the back of Kit's head. Agreed. Rabbits are easier to hunt,and the pups could eat them easier...But I miss the taste of deer she commented,licking her chops greedily. Awesomeness? Hey,I'm the one with the actual star! Luna,the White Star She rolled her eyes at her own comment. That doesn't even make sense. I'm nowhere near white she said,more to herself than Kit.

Kit thought about it for a moment. "Actually, The white Star does suit you! I can't wait for when you'd become a legend too!" Kit said excitedly, thinking about her own adventure. Kit turned her head and grinned at her friend. "Your heart is white and not black. That makes you utterly pure!" Kit playfully dashed away so that Luna's support would be gone. "

Luna already saw Kit's front legs move,so she pulled away from Kit,landing down on her front paws. Me? A Legend? Pfft She held back laughter,shaking her head. That's one of the silliest things I've heard come from you Growling playfully,she crouched low,before running into the darkness of the bushes and trees,crouching low again. She silenced her breathing,making sure she was down wind,and made her paw steps light and silent too. She stalked after her friend for a moment,before suddenly dashing out,running towards Kit. Attack! she barked playfully,laughing.

Kit laughed as her friend disappeared and appeared again. At her yell, Kit expertly moved to the left, missing her friend's attack by a tail. "Really, yelling that would totally give away your position," she giggled. "Besides, we're here to hunt food! Not each other!"
Suddenly, the wind came against them and Kit smiled. "I can smell a mother deer and her foe. Let's go hunt them, shall we?" Kit said, grinning as she started to stalk forward.

Luna rolled her eyes playfully. Oh,no,I think I'd rather hunt you,Kitkattish she said sarcastically,before becoming serious again as she caught the scent as well. Keeping low to the ground,she began to stalk after Kit,her eyes sparkling.

"I know, I know. My awesomeness is tempting, but please!" Kit teased, rolling her eyes. She stalked forward, silencing her breath and quieting her steps. She moved silently forward and caught sight of a large female deer eating the newly sprouted grass with her young. There were two young deer and a mother one. The herd must not be that far off.
"Luna, we should be careful....remember, we'll hunt the young deer. Both of them. I'll get that bigger one and you get the smaller one...how does that sound?" she whispered.
