Amber eyes fixated themselves on the new den as Myria paused a few feet from the entrance. Her eyes swiveled about, scanning the area for any potential threats.
It seems that Alira, Revera's pup is in the den. Other than that, the old scent of bear still clings to this area.
Taking one last look around, the soft grey wolf made her way to the new den. Pausing at the entrance the wolf decided to alert the pup as she did not wish to startle her.
Alira? It's Myria. I can smell you in the den, and I'm going to enter. I did not want to startle you as I can tell you are on your own here.
With that said, the wolf slowly padded into the den before she settled down in a relatively clean area. Wrapping her tail around her legs, the wolf inspected the pup's cleaning.

How are you doing, pup? the older wolf questioned, concerned for Alira. She knew how harsh Revera had been on her, yet Myria knew that her Alpha's actions were out of love for her pup.

Myria licked a paw as her amber eyes glowed with amusement.
Your scent tells a different story, Alira. There is no point lying, I can tell you're hurt by your mother's words.

Myria settled down as she stretched, patiently waiting for Alira to decide whether or not to share her emotions.
I find that sharing your issues can often be quite a catharsis, pup. If you wish to speak with me, it will remain between us, unless you would like me to speak with your mother.
The older wolf watched Revera's pup quietly, waiting for her next move.

Myria blinked, her amber eyes slightly confused.
She...took issue when you wished to share your feelings and ideas?

No because I was weaker than the rest and disliked fighting and war

Myria shook her head sadly.
Just because you were considered to be weaker than the rest, does not mean that you do not have strengths of your own. You will make a fantastic wolf one day, Alira. As for your dislike of fighting and war...I would hazard to say that it is not such a bad thing. Fighting and war only befriend more fighting and more wars. However, sometimes you must fight to protect what you care for, and it is justified.
Myria gently nudged Alira with her muzzle.
Do not fret so much, little one. Know this: Revera loves you unconditionally. I know whatever punishment she has given you, or whatever anger she has shown towards you is simply a mother's way of coping. You should have seen her when you were missing; she flew from the old den like a harpy from hell. She simply needs some time to cool down, and to realize that you are safe from harm. It is a mother's job to protect her young, and I'm sure she was just as angry at herself as she was with you. Take her punishment in stride; it will be over that much more quickly, and I know from experience. Things will work themselves out.
Myria settled herself down near the den's entrance.
Get some sleep, Alira. I will watch over the den. I'm sure the other pack members will be here soon.
(I'm off to work for the evening, but I should be back on later tonight, or at the very latest, tomorrow).

Revera slowed to catch her breath before tackling the steep incline of their new den. She wondered if there was an easier way to get to it and then pushed it out of her mind. For once, business could wait. She glanced back slightly to see her white male trudging along behind her. With those two together, Revera knew she'd never have to stop going forward.
Finally they scaled the side and the spattering of pebbles rained below her paws. She hoped they hadn't hit her mates face but if they had she could hardly have stopped it. Sorry. She panted. The cave was in view now and with it a panting Alira, and Myria. They seemed to be the only ones home besides Amaris who was never supposed to leave.
The alpha trotted up to her daughter and gave her a loving lick. She hoped Alira wasn't to upset at having to be Omega. Did the others know of her sentence? Revera couldn't tell. The red female turned back to her mate and nuzzled him softly. Sigurd you should probably get to know your new daughter. I'll howl a summons to get the others here.
With that the alpha stepped into the cave and barked. Its sound echoing from the contours and shooting forth into the territory.
Yep, that oughta do it. She breathed deep and howled, her song bouncing off the walls and filling the deep cave. It's amplified music poured from the entrance and out into the territory.
Come my brothers and sisters. I have news for the pack!
