Kit huffed impatiently at him and dropped Luna's tail. She flashed him a quick smile I don't need her HELP to hunt for my own food. We want to hunt together. That's what friends are for. Kit said, padding over to Revera and helping her.

Revera cast her eyes back toward the young wolves and rolled them a little. Kit and Luna. Those two were so comical.
"Kit, I want you to run by the old den and find some moss. Remember when you fell in the den site? You were covered in it. I want some now. take Luna with you and bring back enough to make this place comfortable."
She dropped the bone and took to digging at it instead of pulling.

Ky smirked in her direction, Sure, you probably haven't hunted anything bigger than a rabbit by yourself. Probably tuck your tail between your legs and let Luna do the work.

Kit nodded at Revera and snorted at Ky.
Hilarious. I'm sure you have. Kit said, sarcastically. She flicked her tail at him as she headed out of the den. Just remember who brought you food. And wolf, I don't let other wolves do more work than or FOR me. And I've never tuck my tail between my legs like you.
Kit stuck her tongue out at him, her bright blue eyes narrowed. She bounded easily out of the den.

Ky stopped and stared off confused before looking to the two adult wolves, One that didn't make sense and two, did she really just stick her tongue out at me?

Rayne closed her eyes at the comment, Kit is still young, that's the best she can come up with.
Shaking her head, the beta continued to sweep up the den making a note to not have a headache from her pupil and this new wolf.

Revera couldn't hide her laughter. "That's Kit for you. All heart that one." The alpha smiled and shook out her fur. That bone wasn't going to come up without help. She sat flipping her tail to one side. The den was already looking better.
A chilled wind blew past her ears making them flick. There was snow on that wind, but not for a few days off at least. Things should be fine for now.
"We need to catch something large so we're ready for the first snow." The alpha commented. " I should organize a patrol sometime tomorrow."

Rayne nodded to her alpha, That would be beneficial. Hopefully the winter will slow down the kings as well.

"Well now that their medicine den is in ruins they'll have to slow down. I think I even crushed a few herbs with that moster bitch." The alpha laughed darkly. Anything to stunt the Kings was a plus.
"Oh, Ky you don't know about the war. You see we are in a territory dispute for this land. It used to belong to a pack called the Kings of the Forest. They want it back and we're holding strong. They're led by a black monster of a wolf named Nuka and from what we know he is ruthless.
He kidnapped my daughter not more than a few nights ago, but we got her back... Only to lose her again..." Revera snapped out of the memory before it could overtake her.
"I'm sure you'll see them soon enough."
