Kit padded out of the den and into the lovely snow covered meadow. Her bright blue eyes took in the lovely and untouched dusts of snow.
She looked to Bandit and saw him staring wide eyed at the plane of snow.
"Go ahead, bandit. Play to your heart's delight," Kit laughed, nudging him forward.

Band let out an excited squeal and jumped into the snow. His tiny body sunk right in and he laughed.

Kovu smiled as he followed Kit and Bandit. As Bandit ran off to play, Kovu nudged Kit and went to sit by the big oak tree. He settled down and watched Bandit play with a smile on his face.

Kit grinned when Kovu went over to sit by her favorite tree. She padded up to him and settled beside him, cuddling into his warmth.
"You know, we never really got to spend time together," Kit stated, looking up at him and placing her paw on his muzzle.

Bandit giggled as he played near the entrance of the den. He saw Vikas standing nearby and howled to him.
"Vikas! Vikaaas! Come here, this is so cool!"

Kovu looked down at Kit and shook her paw off his muzzle. You're right, we haven't.
Kovu nuzzled her and then spoke what was on his mind. That she-wolf in the den...the one sitting by the two white males and the pups. You seem to know her...avoiding her, maybe? WHy?

Kit sighed and looked down at the snow before looking up at Kovu again.
"That she-wolf was my mother. Well, my guardian. But to me, she was my mother and I loved her so much."

Kit nodded and her ears picked up the sound of paw steps. The scent she caught must've told her that it was Vikas.
"I was a pup when I joined this pack. I wasn't born here. The white she-wolf you saw...her name's Mistina. She sort of abandoned me as a pup because of her personal reasons."
Turning to Vikas, Kit laughed. "No. Bandit just called you."

Bandit giggled at Vikas when he approached.
"Hiya, Vikas! Look! It's SNOW!! The snow is clean and much softer than the one outside! Isn't this cool?!" Bandit said, his brown eyes wide with excitement.

Vikas exhaled in relief and came a little closer to the pup, Yes it is...is this your first snowfall?

Kovu's ears pricked when he heard Vikas. He glanced over but then looked back at Kit. This is bad. I know nothing about you. Maybe Balo really would have been a better mate... Kovu mumbled. He cleared his throat and looked curiously back at Kit. Let me guess...so, Mistina abandoned you and then Revera took you in?

Bandit giggled at Vikas, and then barreled into Vikas's front legs, proud that he didn't trip this time.
He looked up at Vikas with wide eyes. "YES! I didn't know snow was so cool. Do you like snow?" Bandit asked, looking up at Vikas with wide puppish eyes.

Kit heard Kovu mumble to himself but she didn't catch what he said.
"Well, Revera adopted me much later. Sometime before the war I became her daughter." Kit said, cheerfully.

Vikas caught himself when the pup barreled into him, Well someone is strong. This is my first snow too. Where I come from it is much warmer and you only see snow in the far off mountains. I would love it if you taught me how to play in....that is if it is ok with your sister and her mate. Looks like I may have interrupted them.
His dark eyes went to the young pair nuzzled under a frozen tree.

Kovu blinked at Kit. Wow. You were basically this age when she adopted you. You would have been able to take care of yourself already.. Kovu said, cocking his head.

Bandit grinend widely at Vikas. "I'll teach you how to play!"
He looked over at his sister and the male sitting next to her. Bandit shrugged and looked back at Vikas. "It's okay. They aren't even paying attention to us! Besides, Kit can look after herself and if that wolf hurts her...imma bite his tail! GRRR!" Bandit growled, crouching down and attempting to run but he tripped and fell nose first into the soft snow. Bandit jumped up, giggling.

"Well, I don't know...but for me, Revera was already my mother. I loved her so much. She adopted me before the pups were born."
