For any questions on these rules, ask a moderator or an admin. We are always willing to help members out.
1) No god-modding. Ever. We highly disapprove of this action. That means no taking control of other's character without their expressed permission; no auto-hits; no auto-dodges; no killing another without expressed permission from the owner; no surviving deadly blows without ill-effects.
2) Do not piss of the Admins. Respect us, love us, hate us; I don't care. Just don't do anything to make us mad or we'll drop the Ban-Hammer faster than you can say "n00b".
3) All characters must be pre-approved before posting.
4) Magic does not exist. So far in the story, we are playing normal wolves. No elemental abilities, no wings nor rainbow-fur nor fireballs.
5) A character can not be in more than two threads at a time, and those threads must be in different times. Try to only remain in one thread, though, please. It makes everything easier.
6) Two paragraphs per post, please. As an admin, I would like to see a site flourish. And for something to flourish, you need to give it more than a few drops of water. Please, put detail into your posts as much as possible. Remember to spend time reacting to and acknowledging all previous posts, and starting a new action for someone else to carry on. Reaction should be one paragraph; action is the second paragraph. Not a hard concept, yes?
I understand that some people are new to writing, and I will allow exceptions. Not everything deserves two paragraphs. But, please try. You won't learn how to do it if you don't try to. At least one paragraph (about five sentences) would be sufficient, if you can't do better.
7) When creating characters (since nobody can have just one), you have to post "(your Character's name)'s Characters" . Your first character's bio goes in here, as normal, but all subsequent character profiles are to be replies to the single thread, as opposed to creating an entirely new thread with their name as the subject title. This way, you have an archive style database that is automatically organized chronologically. Your character sheet will also be moved to the appropriate area.
Let's assume you ask someone if they've seen your new Character. All they would have to do is find "So and So's Characters" and scroll down to the bottom to assess your creation. People shouldn't have to LOOK for your characters to read up on them. Such disorder can lead to misunderstandings based upon inadequate distribution of information. Also, above all else, it saves space and just looks neater.
8) Please use different styles of fonts for thoughts and speech. Grammar is very helpful for letting others know how to respond to your posts. Periods in the right places, quotations and/or bold/colored fonts, italics for thoughts, etc.
9) All posts from now-on should be in third person story format.
