Okay guys so you know the new rule of Make a new thread? Well Myria and I were thinking that if we elimentate the 'Root threads' ex. Open Wooded area, The lake, The Mountain top...etc
That it would make getting a new thread more natural, but I want your opinion. Save the Threads or break em down!
There will also be a poll above here but feel free to voice your opinion. The poll is just for ease of tally.

Alright guys, just in case some of you are confused (I already mentioned this to Rev, but I will reiterate myself here for everyone to read) I will try to explain.
We have about three options (If everything gets lumped):
1. Break down the root threads.
2. Keep the root threads.
3. A compromise between options 1 and 2.
Now, going with option 1:
It would force people to make their own threads, which could either get really organized or it could be quite confusing for people...not knowing which thread to enter, where to start, etc.
Option 2:
It gets very long, and though most members can navigate, newer members can get lost and not know who is speaking/interacting with whom. I spent about an hour today sorting the New Den root thread into smaller chunks...it wasn't stimulating nor was it enjoyable.
Option 3:
An example of a compromise: "When you leave the root thread make your own thread". Example: When we enter the den, we sleep, talk with other pack mates, etc. If we go hunting, to another area, etc. you make a new thread for your own action-and anyone else who may be joining you. (Title it appropriately to give others the gist of what you're doing).
Hopefully that gave you guys some insight and a better grasp of what we were thinking....happy voting (and voice your opinion!)

Compromise. Because new threads will involve different wolves and we want to know what's actually happening in the main thread  Kind of like a class, you walk out and talk to other people but you can still get info on what's going on in the room... IM BACK BTW! Missed me? :') |
