It begins (remember to stick to the plans. Fight hard, but keep to role playing etiquette)
Rayne stalked closer to the King's territory, sniffing the air for any scent which may give away their position. She didn't like "ifs" in her strategy and where the King's position would be was a large "if." The black female stayed close to the ground, even though she was hidden in the shadows, anything to make herself less of a target was beneficial.
Once she had found a decent hiding spot, she crouched waiting for Ky and Kovu to bring the elk in and start this. Rayne looked down to Luna and tried to give her a silent understanding between them.

Ky had been chasing this elk for a while, knowing that both Myria and Kovu were keeping up and herding on each side. He smelt Chase in there as well and between the four of them, bringing down a elk this size was going to be easy.
Rayne said to make sure to get it as close to the King's borders as possible. He snapped at the elk's hooves getting it to turn till they were just to the border of the territory and he leapt up to latch onto the elk's jugular.
She said to make this bloody...

Luna stealthily followed after her mum, nerves running at a high point. This was an actual fight. An actual war. Her pack mates could die. Her mum,her dad,Myria,Chase,Ky...Luna shook her head weakly. There was no point thinking of the possible things that could happen. It's time to prove to The Kings what we can really do she thought. Luna stuck close to the ground, sticking to her mum's movements. They could both easily blend into the shadows. She paused, and looked up at her mum,her eyes flashing. What if I fail my pack? What will happen then? What if I lose my life in this battle? What if I'm not ready? I'm not,am I? Luna pushed those negative thoughts away. They would not help her here.

Kovu grinned as he chased after the terrified elk, snapping at it at Ky's direction. As Ky latched onto the throat and bit hard into it, Kovu took it upon himself to pounce on the elk's back and helped with the biting and killing process. When the blood was spilt and Kovu knew the elk was dead, he proceeded to tear open the gash wound letting more blood spill. He closed his eyes momentarily, wondering if he would see this pack after the fight. Briefly, Kit's bright blue eyes flashed in his head and then last smile she gave them. Kovu lingered on her image for a moment longer and then cleared his head, hoping to erase anything that..... Kovu glanced at Ky as he ripped more skin open. As much as he hated to admit it, he and Ky did work well together. And if they came out of it alive...he might just hate that wolf's gut a little less. Kovu let out a cocky grin before continuing his messy and bloody job.

Ky nodded to Kovu and the others trying not to look suspicious, but just hungry. Hopefully they will think we are just young and inexperienced.
Ky tore at the elk's throat, shredding in a sloppy manner so that the arterial blood spewed everywhere, drenching himself and the nearby trees with it. The smell was intoxicating and he dared the Kings to smell it and not approach.

Myria had assisted with herding the prey towards the border, but the animal was now being torn into; her first job was done. Nodding to Chase, the beta silently disappeared into the area across from Rayne. We can attack from both sides now.
The timber wolf kept her body low as she became her namesake, nothing more than a grey phantom.

(I'm not sure what to do but here we go.)
Chase had enjoyed chasing the elk down with his pack mates. It was the most fun that he had had in ages. He glanced over at Myria and noticed her gesture, he slipped into the bushes and silently moved into position. It was hard for him to crouch low enough in the undergrowth so that he wouldn't be seen, his legs were too long. The scent of the elk's blood asailed his nostrils making his nostrils flare. He shuffled his paws on the ground anxiously. This was going to be epic.

Rayne's ears fell flat when she heard the great elk's body slam into the ground. Ky, Kovu and Chase dug into it with reckless abandon and if they lived through this battle, she would make sure to compliment them on a job well done.
When Myria settled across from the black female, Rayne nodded to her waiting....just waiting.....
She rolled her shoulders, her wolves were set, everything going according to plan. Now it was time for the Kings to notice.

Nuka flanked the shadows with his mate at his side. His warriors were fanning out in all directions. The smell of blood was in the air heavy laden from that buck so viciously evicerated. Two burly males still growing into their ears stood bloody and stinking as they aproached. Silently he complimented their work. This would have been a great trap if not for their foolish allies spilling their guts. He would have to remember to speak to Sparrow about his little Mountain Valley escipade after this minor matter was finished.
With a sweep of his tail the pack fell back, becoming one with the shadows. He'd positioned them upwind so the little shadow wolves could drowned in his scent before their blood bath. Frosts warm pelt brushed his own. Should he let her make the first move or he? he wondered.
The King of Kings raised his muzzle to the air and breathed deep. Not only was the blood a lure but it was also brilliant camoflauge. He couldn't tell how many wolves hung in the rafters but with Frost, Argus, Rowan and his brothers, plus Jade and Sparrow he was sure he could take them down.
Maybe even Mountain Valley will show up and I can make two worthless packs fall. He thought with a swing of his tail.
Where's my pups! The Mountain valley wolf howled overhead. How cute, a decoy. They really were pulling out all the stops. Trying to split the pack. Well that wasn't about to happen.
Finally he stepped forward his large body staining the bloody snow black. "Excellent job boys but I don't remember ordering in."

Luna stayed silent, stiffling her breaths. She kept close to the ground,so the light snow was just touching her belly,so her white star on her chest was camouflaged. She flattened out her ears, and sniffed quietly for any Kings. Just breathe normally. Remember So many alarming thoughts were running through her head,at the thought of losing her mum,Ky,Kovu, her dad,Myria,Chase. Even Kit and the others were in danger back at the abandoned den. The black wolf stiffened,as soon as she caught a waft of the Kings through the intoxicating scent of the elk. Well, one King, but Luna had a horrible feeling to whom it was. Nuka. Nuka's here She closed her eyes tight for a moment, then reopened them. We can do this. We can do this. We have to do this

Sparrow's golden body slithered out of range of prying eyes. His own were searching the rocks for one pelt in particular. One beautiful white pelt. If she were here then the whole of Mountain Valley must be too. Instead his eyes landed on a whisper of movement between the rocks. Something white above the snow had shifted and fallen into it. Was it a face mark? Maybe just a hare peeking from the rocks. He shook his head and kept searching. It didn't appear that any of the other wolves were there. Man, they're good He thought.

Rayne's eyes widened when Nuka stepped out and addressed her wolves. She had expected the Kings to notice sooner than later, but why was Nuka on the edges of their territory?! Unless....
Her crystal gaze shot out to the tree line, inhaling quick, quiet breaths so as not to give away her position. There were more, she was sure of it. No alpha would come this close to an enemy kill unless he were surrounded by back up.
Rayne felt her heart race and her senses went on alert. He must have had them upwind for the main scent she was receiving was Nuka's potent scent, Clever...
It was then that she caught the faint scent of something familiar....something just to the right....or was it left? Inhaling deeper, Rayne used all her training and experience to focus.....
They're all around us! They're trying to circle us in.
Her eyes went back to Ky and Kovu and she didn't see Myria or Chase. Hopefully this meant they were hidden away. She would watch for the moment, see if any more of the Kings would make their position known and then she would pounce.

Luna could clearly sense that her mum was alert, and that clearly meant that she'd figured something out. What? That was something Luna wanted to know. Maybe it has something to do with Nuka...or the rest of the Kings she thought. She tried to sense any other wolves around her that weren't apart of her pack. Nothing she thought grimly. But there has to be a reason as to why mum would immediately do this when she wasn't as tense like this before. She's alarmed about something...? Well, she must know exactly what she's doing. She's been doing this for longer than me

Ky jumped at the voice and turned his head up from the kill, blood marring his already red fur. His golden eyes took in the massive male and snarled, You're him aren't you? Nuka.
Ky knew the rest of his pack were hiding around him, probably waiting for the opportune moment. Rayne would signal for the attack....wouldn't she?
The adolescent male decided to take this ploy as long as he could. He was no match for such a massive wolf, but he snarled just the same, This is our kill....back off.

Kovu's head snapped around and he saw one hell of a giant black male standing there. Who was he? But seeing Ky act sharp, tense and playing it out, Kovu decided to help back him up.
I don't remember receiving an order for a dead elk. Sorry, but you'll have to back off, Kovu snarled from beside Ky, standing as though protecting his kill.
