Aria growled as she walked from the Kings den toward that den of Keepers. "Are you coming Sprite?" She snapped from the trees where her little white protege should have been bouncing.
Her hatred of Frost was now mulling with her hatred of Nuka. He'd always listened to his most loyal warrior before, but now with Her She was just another worthless wolf in her brothers eyes.
"If anything happens to you Nuka," Aria whispered. "I'll never forgive myself."
Up ahead the brush cracked darkly. Danger. "Sprite." Aria barked. "We've got company."

Revera froze at the sound of Avalon's hacking howl advertising his position all over the shared territories. The wolf before her paused to listen. The alpha sunk farther in the shadows. Stupid Stupid Avalon! What were you thinking!

Shadow's ears pricked at the strange howl. She laid down on the ground and set the pup down so it was on her forpaws and pressed up against her chest. Who is that? She asked. Is that Avalon?

"shadow?" Revera barked hearing the young wolf behind him. "You weren't supposed to follow me! And you brought Black Ice!" She hissed but not low enough for the King wolf to hear. "Well well, tired of hiding alpha trash!" The young King snarled. Reluctantly Revera pulled away from the shadows and stood before Shadow and Black Ice. "Get out of here Shadow. I've got this." Luckly the black wolf behind her was invisable in the darkness. Only a view from overhead would find young Shadow. "You threaten my pack. You threaten my pups and you insult me. You will die now."

Shadow flattened her ears. Crap! I've screwed up again! She took Black Ice up in her jaws and struggled to get to her paws. She heard the Kings wolf and couldn't help but growl.

Aria snarled deep sensing the fear of two wolves where she only saw one. "Who are you hiding there?" She barked dashing forward with a grace that rivaled even Revera to land before the black wolf barely showing from the shadows. The scent of milk on the wolf's person was warning enough of the pup in her jaws. Before she could move to bite the bit of fur from the black wolf Revera's bone crushing grip landed upon her spine. She spun earning herself a score over the alpha's unprotected neck onnly to bare her own to the Black wolf.

Shadow backed up a couple of steps and stood there for a moment. She watched her alpha feircely fight to protect her pup. She was such an idiot. She had Revera's pup in danger. Without waiting for another second, she turned and limped away.

Spirit watched from the shadows of the trees. She grinned to herself and let Aria mess with the alpha. She took off after the black wolf with the pup. Her scent covered by the mud in her fur.

Revera clamped harder on the young wolf's spine feeling the rage of having her home comprimised by this worthless wretch. She could hear the bones creak under her jaws until the King was whining for mercy. With a toss of her head she sent Aria skidding backwards across the snow, King blood dripping from her jaws. "I don't know who you are." She snarled, stalking closer. Pain leeked from the young warriors eyes. "and I don't care." The crimson queen pounced over the young wolf only to land on bared jaws. Nicks danced across her neck and chest, but Revera hadly felt them. Her sharpened tree climbing claws swiped at the young wolf's eyes until the blood pooled like honey from crushed hive. Heavy tears lined the young females face but Revera's body kept her under. Finally the wolf stopped whining. Her heavy head swung dead against the alpha's bite. Blood sated and victorious the alpha pulled away.
Revera's breath billowed from her heavy pants. She'd killed someone. Her first true kill. She'd ordered executions and watched them first hand but this... She licked her lips, tasting the blood of the young female at her paws. She knew it was for the pack but this just didn't seem-
Aria lunged blindly from the snow to collide with the murderous queen. Her plan had worked perfectly but it could not save her eye. The pain only increased her bite on the red wolf's throat where she clamped. Those aweful claws swung to slash her shoulders. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered. Nuka would be proud to know the alpha fell. Nuka would care again if Aria came back with this alpha. Her brother would care again. But at what cost? The voice in her mind murmurred. He will never be the same. You will never have your revenge on Frost. This wolf could help. She might be the only one who can stop her. The queen was growing more desperate under Aria's fangs. This was it, the moment was hers. If she held on Revera would die but if she gave... Aria let her teeth fall from the alpha's neck. Both female's glared panting across the blood ridden crater. Golden eyes met mahongany in the dark. "Why'd you let go?" The alpha growled stalking forward again. "Because, I'm done with you. I'm done with you all for now." She barked. With a confidence befitting the Kings royalty she crossed Revera's path. No bites were spared either way. Only then did she remember the young wolf still supposedly watching from the trees. "Traitor," Aria snarled. "Hey, Keeper, You might want to go squirrel hunting if you know what I mean." It wasn't long before Aria heard the rustle of a large animal hitting the branches behind her. Revera must have been on the trail. "Good luck little sprite." Aria snapped heading for the cliffs. "you're going to need it."
