(sorry I got confused because of the whole Lake episode)
Ky had kept quiet, scanning the vine for any breaks in it and he jumped when the thing fell out of the tree. Sniffing it he twisted his head back this way and that, It has no smell...how can that be?

Kit shrugged at Ky's voice. All three wolves were surrounding the the strange object. Finally Kit leaned down and grabbed it by the shiny part. "Maybe we can show this to the pack. Misty or Vikas will know what it is..." Kit mumbled around the heavy object. "It's really heavy! Ky, can you help me here, please? Kovu you must try and get the tail untangled," Kit mumbled around her mouthful of black shiny object. (Btw, Kit's talking about a camera, and she's carrying it from the lens horizontally.)

Kit blinked and dropped the strange object. Her bright blue eyes clouded over and she frowned. There was something...
Kit looked into the mist that was what Alpha and Beta were showing her. Russle was growing much too fast and trying to be older than she is. SHe should enjoy her puphood and not try to be an adult. Kit had to do something about it. She'll have a talk with Russle. Immedieatly.
Kit looked at her mate and Ky and then hit her ears against her skull. "Sorry boys, but can I leave this up to you? PleasE? Sorry, but something came up. I'll meet you guys back here or at the den. I'll howl for you two.." Kit dipped her head once again in apology and then ran out. (transition -whelping den)

Ky watched Kit scamper off and looked to Kovu, Spirit like the wind, that one....
He bent down to inspect the weird blinking rock, Do you think Vikas would know what this is?

Kovu chuckled as Kit ran off. Yeah, she is.
Kovu nosed the weird object and then mouthed it. I guess so. We should get it to the den.
With him holding one side and Ky with the other, both males made for the den. (Sorry for godding you, Ky. Would have been faster that way)

Myria paused just within the treeline, her body flush to the ground and her amber eyes wary.
These vines hold lightning. Revera got shocked by it once. she told Balor in a low voice.

Balor came up behind her. His gargantuine body no more than a smear on the grass. "How does a vine hold lighting?" He whispered cocking his head. "The tracks lead that way." He barked swishing his tail toward a slightly less dense part of the woods. This didn't feel like Keeper territory. It was very strange.. "We should go that way."

I can't tell you how. It must be something to do with the monsters. The beta glanced where Balor's tail had swung.
This...doesn't feel right. If something goes wrong, we are out of there. No snapping, not even a yip. Right into the woods, and then we disappear. I don't need to come back without you and have to explain it to my pack. And I would like to return home tonight as well. she huffed slightly near the end before moving farther into the shadows towards where Balor had indicated.
No point going into the open until I have to...

"You've got Al- Beeeta." He barked barely stopping himself from making the same mistake. "I wouldn't have it any other way." He breathed deep and headed toward the denser part after Myria. Taking up the side facing the trees. Her light pelt could stay hidden closer up but his black mass would need to be heavily covered with shadow.

The scent of water reached her nose as the tree line became less dense. Myria crouched, keeping herself low to the ground. Before her, a half-frozen creek gurgled. A little farther, the grass was torn by the strange shiny-pelt's tracks. But the beta's keen eyes were fixed on a portion of the vines, where they were very sparse.
This section had six long, lateral branches. The lowest bar was above the ground, and the space below it was large enough for a wolf to sneak under. There was one vertical branch in the middle.
What do you think of those vines? They're so much different than the rest of them... she whispered while inclining her muzzle at the strange section.

Balor licked his lips letting the half frozen water slide down his chin and whiskers. Silently he moved to stand beside Myria. Before him the vines changed to a completley different breed. He growled and sniffed close but not touching the vines. He didn't want to expirence the lightning that the beta had spoken of.
He didn't hear the thrum like on the other breed of vine. Maybe this one wasn't that dangerous? "It's a completely different species. I've never seen anything like this before but some giant snakes have been through here." He barked feeling his paws meld into the grooves leading under the vines. "We could hunt this one down and feed the pack for a moon!" He barked looking past the vines to the fields outside. "We should go under it."

The shiny pelt does not look edible, and it hurt Russle. You're right...there is no soft humming in these vines. I'll go first...goodness knows Balor the Great will attract more attention than the Grey Phantom. she smirked before slinking easily under the gap.
If you can get under it, that is. She turned and crossed the hard shiny-pelt trail and dipped into the rather angled hill on the other side before climbing the opposite slope. She waited for Balor just outside the treeline, her ears flicking towards noise deeper in the trees.

Balor smirked and crammed his body onto his paws as he crawled toward the bottom of the vines. His shoulders and head rammed against the body of the vines. He flinched expecting a punishing bite from the rust colored vines but nothing followed. He took a relieved sigh and tried to drag himself farther but his body was constricting wrong. He'd get stuck if he went any farther.
"Screw this." He growled pulling back out. "Cover me. I'm jumping." He barked backing away and eying the vines. He had never jumped something this large but he was sure he'd make it. After all he wasn't Balor the Great for nothing.

Myria felt her jaw drop. Was he crazy? The vines were at least double her height from her paws to her nose! Myria slunk back up to the hard trail, her ears and eyes searching for any shiny-pelts. Besides the far-off noise deep in the trees behind her, the world was silent.
You are insane! If you get yourself beached up there I am not helping you. she hissed.
