(Hey I just got a pm that said I could play Luke. Let's see how this goes ) Luke rose from where he was resting at the foot of the crevise. A shadow cut across his blaze of sunshine making him look up. He couldn't really make out the two wolves up above but Talia's voice wasn't one he would soon forget. "Welcome home Taila." The alpha of Trinity barked with a grin as he stood and stretched. He watched his light brown mate scramble down to the Old Titus den, now the beautiful place of Trinity. "Hello." Luke barked spying the new wolf, Kit in his prescense. "I am Luke, alpha of the clan of Trinity. I see you have met my mate, Talia. What brings you to our humble home?"

(.... That he is)
Talia smiled and nudged her mates chin before answering his question. "She is a Watcher." The dusky brown female barked with voice lowered for only him. "She says that she has seen Dorians vision for herself and come to help us."
The alpha flicked an ear to her warriors. "I don't want to alarm anyone. If we can do this without lifting ears we should." she turned her golden eyes on Kit with a smile. "I prefer to keep the inner workings of the pack seperate from day to day life. Politics you know. So, if you'll come with us we will show you our aged Watcher Dorian. After all, you are a Healer and he's had a horrible cough lately" She said this time with an intent of the other curious ears hearing her words as she led the way.

Kit nodded in greeting at luke. Then she grinned a little Talia. Dorian....I'll get to meet him, another Watcher! Kit thought, eyes shining. She followed after Talia, ears flickering. "Oh? Has he been coughing for a long period of time?" She asked, playing along. She tried to remember what kind of words Miranda would use...

"I'll let him tell you that." The alpha female barked as they came to an large crack in the den walls. The smell of sickness and fear leaked from the crack as two eyes peered out. "Dorian?" The alpha barked. "May we enter?"
The eyes shifted from the alpha's stare to the silver white wolf, blinking once in confusion and sparking with understanding. "I would be honnored." The grufff voice of the elder barked. There was a scrabble of paw steps and the eyes could no longer be seen.
Talia led the way inside for Kit and Luke. Her nose twitched in disgust at the greasy feel under paw. Dorian didn't let anyone care for him as they should. Never cleaning his bedding or picking up after his food. As their eyes adjusted they could make out his structure. Once Dorian had been a strong wolf, a warrior. The light of battle and wisdom still hung in his aged eyes but those days had quickly fled by in the measure of bone and muscle. Now the gray brown wolf tremered where he lay. His nose bore ragged sores from over grooming while the rest of his fur knotted and knarled. His ribs could be seen through his paper thin skin and a hollowness hung about his face.
"You bring a powerful Watcher in my pressence, Nubik." The old male barked to Talia before turning his eyes to Kit. "Many miles have you walked young one. The bites of the liars and sneers condone you, yet you smile to hide the pain of what you've lived through. What no wolf was meant to live through. Have you found your curse yet, Kit of Lesha and Rondon? Or Did you never know their names? Don't search, they are dead. Both brilliant watchers in their time. Both struck down by the plagues of idiocy."
The sharp male stood and crawled toward the young watcher. His eyes only holding a hint of the bue he once possessed. "But you aren't here to know the history of our breed or your place in it, are you? No. You've come to rectify my warnings. It's coming isn't it?"

Kit looked over at the den as she entered. Her bright blue eyes went to the old wolf and she stepped forward, bowing her head in respect for the Old Watcher. Her ears flickered as he spoke and she met his fading blue eyes. "To cry and show my misery to those who would take pleasure at my pain is not something I will ever do. Smiling and keeping the pain from the lies and stinging words would fare me better and annoy those who wish to watch me suffer. My heart is not nearly as bitter and black as theirs. I would rather they sneer and lie to me than to innocent ones," Kit dipped her head once, her bright blue eyes shining. She looked at Dorian as he mentioned her parents. "The names of my parents, I did not know. Of their death,I was aware. They cared for me when I was but a whelp. But tge rest of my life, I grew up with different parents." Kit paused and cocked her head at Dorian. "My parents...they were Watchers as well.....but to be struck by lies and idiocy, its sad to know that they couldnt bear the pain of their cherished pack."
Kit took a deep breath and stepped closer, her bright blue eyes fixed upon the old watcher. "I have come for the propehcy of the waters. Yes, it is close."

The gray black wolf flicked an ear at the wise words by such a young bark. "You were brave to come here, Kit of the Keepers but it was futile. The water will win. It's tumult seekse to destroy, erase and destroy until only the stories remain. Our sense of self, our sense of pack will be no more under its wicked watery gaze."
His faded blue eyes turned to both alphas. "Our history was our defense. But now you have melted it by forging with this Nubik!" His hackles rose and his yellowed teeth bared at Talia's face. "We have nothing now. No senses to keep us strong when the unholy waters rip the souls out of our bodies. I would be interested to see your plans Keeper." Dorian barked a little softer. He fixed his glare on the alphas and snarled. "Leave us."
Talia didn't need to be told twice and headed out of the den. "I await your consensus." She barked to Kit as she moved off.

Luke watched the old wolf with narrowed eyes. "I will be right outside.; He growles before padding after his mate.

Kit knew not to speak when the two alphas were still in the den. She gave them a slightly apologetic looked before turning and sitting on her haunches, her bright blue eyes seemed that they glowed in the dark. "I will meet both of you soon," kit told the alphas as they left. Then she turned to Dorian, waiting for him to speak.

The old Watcher followed the pair with his eyes until the tip of their tail had fallen away into the light before turning to Kit.
"I have seen the future. A watcher will die when the waters come. I know I won't make it, but my foolish nephew and his mate will not take me seriously." Dorian blinked at her with sleep encrusted eyes.
"I am the oldest of all the packs. I was there some 10 years ago when the three packs took their oaths to never settle. I, a wolf of Titus, was a pup those days, but when I slept a gray wolf came to me in mist. It said Beware the water. I didn't know who or what it was but I never forgot its words. Now its coming to pass." The old wolf shuddered and sat with a wince on his slipped disks.
"You were never in my visions of the future. I don't know your place here but if they will listen. Tell them to leave me to pay the debt of Titus and OakWood and move to another area. The canyons can't hold us forever."

Kit cocked her head a little to the side. "To speak of death like it is inevitable...." Kit shook her head slightly. "The future is not set in stone. With everything little thing...and every decision, it saves lives...changes the future. I had seen my death coming but so had another. She came and saved my life right before it happened." Kit said, thinking about her little red fluff.
Despite the words the little one had snapped at her, Kit's heart warmed up at the thought of her little red fluff. She looked to Dorian and flicked her ears. "I have come here to assist in saving those in need of help from the great Waters." Again Kit cocked her head, her blue eyes dancing in the darkness. "Your nephew, alpha Luke and his mate Talia, have a right to not want to believe that death is approaching for you. If there is any way to save a life....then save it." Kit said quietly.
"I might not know be as old and not as experience or as knowledgeable as you, Dorian. But I have a belief that our Alpha and Beta value every life...so we must save it when we can." Kit's bright blue eyes looked into the fading blue of the older wolf. And she smiled sweetly. "I was born a Watcher and raised as an ordinary pup by my mothers. The only thing that makes me different from others is the future I can see, the past that I sense and the link that connects me to Alpha and Beta."
Kit shook her head. "The future is not set in stone." She repeated. "You can move with all of us to another area. Even if i fought fang and tail with them, they would not listen. Dorian, save the life that our Alpha and Beta blessed you."

"But when the stones are crumpling Little one. Where will you stand?" The gray brown wolf growled with a defeated sigh. His fading blue eyes searched the dark cave as if something there would tell him all he needed to know. His dark heart welled with an unfounded pride in the little fighter. She wanted to help. She wanted to stop the future.
A crackle of thunder shivered in the old wolf's bones. For a moment he thought it was within himself until he saw the silver gray female jump. His eyes grew wide and his voice came out in a ghostly mist. "It has come."
In that moment the dusky red alpha popped her head back inside. "It's beginning to rain." She barked. "Everyone's heading toward the dug outs. Are you coming?" She asked the two watchers. Dorian lifted his head and growled. "You will not catch me in those strange grass tunnels you so laughably call dug outs!" He snapped grazing his teeth against the alpha's nose. "The Keeper can go if she so wishes but I'm staying here. The water is talking. You'll be def under ground. and drowned as well....

"When the stones are crumbling, I will stand where the light is and stay strong." Kit replied without hesitation. She eyed him and then started towards the exit of the den. "My words may not change your descision, but hopefully will remind you that you would have had a chance." The thunder resonating so close made Kit jump in surprise and she whipped her head around as Talia spoke. When Dorian replied, Kit knew that it was too late to save him. His descison would cost him his life.
She turned back to Dorian and tentaively made her way towards him. Despite his sick and old look, Kit nuzzled him warmly. "It was nice to know you, Dorian. I have never met a Watcher older than myself and it has been a great honour," Kit said, flashing a bright smile. Then she turned to Talia. "I'm coming." I have to help them.... Kit thought as she turned back to the exit. She gave one more glance to the old Watcher, her silver grey pelt ruffling slightly in the wind as her bright blue eyes met his for a few seconds. Then she folowed Talia out of the den, her ears flickering and her nose catching the scent of rain.

Talia shivered as she pulled away. Beside her some twenty odd wolves were heading to their shelters. A few heads of strange grassy mounds too symmetrical to be natural but useful non the less. Her eyes caught sight of her mate herding the wolves each to a dug out. She looked back and caught Kit's eye. "They are larger than they appear." She explained. Each mound only stood a head or so taller than the wolves. "It's like some giant gopher came in and made them. Large tunnels sink farther down into the mountain beyond."
The female brought the young watcher to the nearest one and led the way inside. It was surprisingly warm and dry. The scents of many wolves milled about inside. Talia lay down in the darkness and waited for Kit to join her.
(Gotta go. My time is up. Bye Kitty, Loves you!)

kit followed closely after Talia, eyeing the mounds as she spoke. Kit's eyes caught sight of a proud mountain standing tall. Among their midst of hard rock, Kit spotted a dark opening, unnatural to the colour of the rocks. Kit guessed that it was a cave....it was high up. She eyed the path to it.
Kit followed Talia into the tunnel and sat on her haunches. Then she looked at Talia. "Cna you tell me about your history, Talia? You had...a sister, didn't you...?"
(Okiess! LOVE YOU TOOO!! :3 )
