Another thought of Balo and Cash flooded his mind. His heart twisted in pain again making him groan. Myria!(Lol, I was trying to hint it to you. Do you know what it is this time? )

(uh...heartbreak....jealousy maybe?)
The female didn't know what to do, so she simply placed her head over Koda's, trying to soothe him.
Do you need Miranda? We'll get you back to the den...

Koda didn't answer. He merely threw up his head and howled. He sang a song of love, but it was deep and mornful with heartache.

Myria sighed as she sat back.
You know, it's not like she's mated with Balo. You're just gonna give up, huh?

Koda's song slowly ended and he rested his head on his paws.

Myria shook her head and nudged him lightly.
You'll live. And remember what I said? No point moping before anything's even happened yet.

Koda huffed, a tear sliding down his cheek. And how do you know? He asked. He lifted his head and howled again.

Did you see her accept Balo as a mate? Myria questioned.
And if she does, it just means that she wasn't the right wolf for you. Every wolf has mate out there...somewhere. When the time is right, mates find each other. Myria told him.

Koda sighed. I guess so. He turned and padded back towards the den. I must go find Kit. His voice was dull, his spirit that he had when he came here was gone.

Myria felt her ears fall and she sighed quietly. Deciding to get some exercise after days of inactivity, the timber female traveled where her paws willed her to go.

KOda wagged his tail when he was able to back track to the course. He turned and looked over at Myria, a smile spreading across his face.
(logging off. Good night.)

(Alright. Night!)
Myria smiled. Good work. When you're ready, you can take a run at it. I'll be behind you, if you like.

Koda nodded. He bunched his muscles and eyed the course before he bolted off. He made it easily over the first three jumps, but he forgot to slow down around the first turn. He didn't realize how sharp it was until he was too late. Koda slipped on the trail and rolled into the undergrowth, only managing to let out a small yelp.

Myria had trotted after Koda, and she knew he was going to wipe out because he didn't slow down. The beta watched as the male rolled into the foliage and she padded towards him. Pushing her head through the snow covered branches, Myria eyed him.
Are you injured at all? she questioned as she glanced over him. He was covered in snow, but he appeared mostly unharmed.

No. But I'm going to be sore in the morning. He mused before he stood up and shook his pelt.
