Revera padded down the slope. Her fur prickled with nerves. Was she really going to tell what happened? If Rayne had been there she would have pulled her over and spilled her guts, but now Myria was her head beta. She should know what was going on in her alphas heart. Head! Not heart. Head!
She chuffed and threw her head waiting for Myria.

Myria could tell that Revera was stressed, and that something was obviously bothering her. The beta silently walked behind her and sat before her.
Somethings wrong, Revera. I know you trust me, as I trust you. Take your time if you need it, I'm not going anywhere. the grey wolf stated as she looked her alpha in the eye.

Revera felt her ears pin. "I've noticed... Especially just now at the vine. What am I gonna do Myria? I need that wolf here. He might be our only chance if the monsters attack, but if Sigurd notices something he's as good as dead!"
She began to pace still fidgiting.

Yes, Vikas is an asset. Hmm...speak with him perhaps? He may be unaware he's attracted to you...highly unlikely, but not impossible. Get him to reign himself in. Option B would be to become cold towards him. That could get him to stop. Though it may be unwise to be mean to him.

That's a dangerous game, Revera. Before I decide, do you feel for him? Mates are supposed to be for life, but...things happen.

"I can't feel for him!" Revera barked her eyes growing wide. "I already have a mate, I have pups for crying out loud. This can't happen." She sighed thinking about Vikas. What did she really know about him?
"Besides I barely know him. Maybe it was just a fluke. If he doesn't know that he's being weird then Sigurd will set him straight soon enough. If he does know..." Revera sighed and lifted her head. "Then he'd better do something about it. I'm much to busy to deal with matters like these."

Myria sighed, thinking.
I'm not one to lead a wolf on...heck, I've never even found a male suitable enough for me to even consider mating with! But...what I can do is try to keep him on the straight and narrow. I can try my best to keep his attention on me, especially with Sigurd around. I would go speak with him about this but...I'm sure you don't want that. That could just compound the problem. How does that sound? I'm doing this for you, as my alpha and as my friend, and for the good of the pack. At least until this monster business is sorted out.

Rev nodded and sighed with relief. "Thank you Myria, and I will talk to him. I just have to wait for the right time. This is a delicate business. I know your doing it for me and I appreciate it." she nuzzled her friend softly. "Lets get back to the den. I think I hear a pup moving." She smiled and led her beta back up the slope and into the den.

Myria nodded at Revera. Silently, she gulped and hoped things would work out. Turning, the grey beta followed her alpha back to the den, hearing Scarlet calling for Revera.
