Myria padded through the darkness, her paws light as she moved silently. The moon illuminated her grey pelt, staining it silver. She glanced over her shoulder, seeing Koda, Miranda and Destiny closing ranks behind her. Her nose dipped to the ground as she caught Revera's scent trail. The grey beta veered away from her alpha's scent and disappeared into the brush.
There's no point in blindly following Revera...besides, separate scent trails will likely confuse any would-be enemies. It will be good to be back at our old home after so long. she mused as she kept her eyes and ears alert. So far, nothing stirred in the full moon's silver glow.

(Thank you! ;D)
Destiny's pelt was illuminated a silver-white by the moonlight. She followed the group of wolves silently, her ears flicking around for any sudden noise.

Miranda padded silently beside Koda. Her ears pricked and her head and tail low. She was lost in her own thoughts.

Koda crashed through the undergrowth. Myria! Myria where are we going? He yipped.

The beta halted immediately upon hearing Koda's excited voice. She turned and leveled her amber eyes at her apprentice.
We are moving to our new home. However, I need you to be quiet right now. We can speak once everyone has safely made it into the Falls Den. the older female stated quietly. She glanced at Miranda and Destiny, thankful for their silence.

Myria listened, her ears rotating to catch movement. Amber eyes scanned the darkness as her nostrils flared to inhale the cool air.
No. But we need to ensure it stays that way. Come on, we are nearly there. Revera and her pups might already be inside, depending on how quickly they traveled. She nudged Koda before taking the lead once more; she knew her pack mates would follow.

Koda sighed and fell into a silent step beside her.

The sound of and smell of water greeted the beta's nose as the trees cleared.
The Falls Den is called so because of the waterfall covering the adult wolves' entrance...we will have to traverse a fairly slick ledge and then duck behind a waterfall. You might get wet. There will be a small pool near the entrance from the water. Once you get over that shallow pool, the inside of the den is dry. Miranda, I'm sure you know this path and will be fine. Koda, do not rush. Destiny, take your time. I will wait near the entrance and let each of you enter first. Miranda, please go first to show the other two how it is done.
As a fair warning, if you do not listen to me and slip from the ledge, you will die. The fall has strong currents and we will be unable to go after you. The beta stated quietly. She knew each wolf had heard, and only prayed they all listened.
Turning, the beta made the slow trek through the thinning trees and onto the ledge. Her relatively small paws fit easily on the rocks, and her rough pads, along with her furry paws, gripped the slick rocks.
Once she got to the fall, she sat and pushed herself against the rock, waiting for her companions.

Miranda ndded and approached the rocks. Bunching her muscles, she leapt up onto the first one. With the stealth of a cat, she leapt from rock to rock until she disappeared into the entrance of the falls den.

Koda watched the healer's movements intently. Really? That's it? Well, then this should be easy! He leapt up onto the first and then to the next. He finally made it to the top, having slipped only once.

Myria nodded and smiled at Koda.
Good job. I'll see you inside shortly.

Destiny padded up to the base of the cliff and eyed it attentively. Bunching her muscles, she leapt onto the first rock. Taking a moment to get her balance and to size up the next rock, she leapt up again. She eventually made it to the top.

Myria allowed Destiny to enter before she took one last sweep over the trail. Nothing stirred and the wind brought nothing but the familiar scents of her pack and the territory. Sighing, Myria flicked her tail and ducked behind the falls, disappearing with a soft glisten in the moonlight.
(Transition-Falls den with Miranda, Koda and Destiny. Thread now closed).
