When Miranda reached her special herb garden the faint scent of the King's healer still hung in the air, making Miranda snarl. 'How dare that wolf jump me when I was only trying to help him!' She thought savagely. Shaking her head to remove the thoughts of him from her mind, Miranda quickly tracks down the herbs and digs them up. Tucking some under her chin and in her mouth, she carries them back to the den.

(transitioning from the new den)
Miranda stopped when she reached her garden. The air smelled bitter with their scent and she chuckled. 'I probably smell just like them,' she thought. She had heard that Revera was leaving the den to give birth to her pups so she decided to see if she could find herbs to help with the birthing pain.
Unfortunately, the herb she needed had already dried up. Miranda did find a little bit of dill which she knew would help her increase her milk supply when the pups were born. All the lavender had died but there was still some St. John's Wort left which might help her with the pain. Miranda dug these herbs up and carried them back to the den.

Miranda padded into the barren clearing of her once lush garden. She looked around and spotted a small hollow in a tree. She padded up to it and dug at it furiously. She scraped the frozen Earth until her paws bled. She ingored it until she had scratched a whole big enough to squeeze into.

Myria maintained her stealth walk as she padded through the barren foliage to Miranda's herb garden. The beta remained silent as she sat before the other female, who was hiding in a tree hollow.
She heard Vikas come up from behind her and the grey wolf rotated an ear in his direction.
Miranda...it's silly to run from things that make you upset. You should deal with them head-on.

Vikas caught up to the she-wolves, it was hard for him to move in all this snow. He couldn't say he was a fan.
The male tilted his head, I don't think I've ever seen a wolf become a gopher before. Is this a northern thing? He asked with a smirk.

Myria barely stifled a chuckle at Vikas's remark. Turning, the beta eyed him with her amber orbs before twitching her whiskers in his direction.
The ground provides warmth. Timber wolves don't need it, but I've heard it can be comfortable.

Miranda huffed. I'm an omega. I'm supposed to take all the negative comments of the pack head-on. This is how I deal with it.

Vikas tilted his head, Hiding in a hole is taking things head on?

Myria shook her head.
Chase would have disagreed. Ky does not mince words, we all know this. He's also an adolescent male who was likely worried about his mate. We all know how important you are. Look at me...I would likely have gotten septicemia and died of bacterial infection without your help.

Yes. But calling me out for caring for another pack? That's what gets to me. Normally, I like everybody I meet until they say to or do something to me that I don't like. She growled. Ky. Crossed that line tonight.

I understand. Avalon is your brother, correct? I was raised to know that family was everything. Avalon is family, but our pack is also family. You can care for them both. Perhaps Mountain Valley can learn some basic healing from you? Soldari told me they have some young wolves...one could perhaps apprentice for you. That would lighten your load, and if they still need you, you can still go to them. the grey female suggested.

I've already discussed the apprentice matter with Lunari. She says that one young she-wolf is interested and wants to send her over in the spring. I just have to okay it with Revera and Sigurd first. She looked up at Myria. Chase was killed in the battle right? Do you know what ever became of his body?

Vikas tilted his head at Myria's words, so she is the diplomat....
Sorry, I'm new here, who is Mountain Valley? They weren't the ones we faced today.
