It...did not go according to Rayne's plan. We had Ky and Kovu herd a deer right at the King's border. I helped. Once it was in position, the boys killed it in the most messy way possible. The blood was supposed to hide our scents. We hid in the brush. Nuka found Ky and Kovu, and suddenly, we were surrounded. We would have won, if Sparrow's mate, Liselotte, had not betrayed us. She was the former beta of Mountain Valley. She used to love Sky, but left him for Sparrow.
Rayne fought Frost, Ky and Kovu fought Nuka, I fought Jade, and Chase fought Sparrow before he was killed. Nuka injured Luna, and Ky and Kovu were badly injured. Jade managed to get my throat because Sparrow leaped on me. But I managed to shake him off and I crippled both her fore legs.
Kiba appeared near the end, and he fought Argus and Nuka. However, Frost's plan was to get rid of Nuka, so Argus did not fight Kiba. Rayne and Kiba finished him, Rayne tackling him over a cliff. When Kiba got up, Rayne was down with Nuka, her body pierced by a branch. Kiba tried so hard to get to her, but she...she wouldn't let him. Her body was keeping the cliff stable. She sacrificed herself to save us....to save Revera's pups.
After all of it, Frost and Revera agreed on the Alpha's pact...we will leave each other alone. Any questions? she managed a sad smile.

Balor winced. "So that's what happened to her. Everyone loses the light in their eyes when I hear her name. Especially Kiba." He stood and licked the blood off his face and then hers just as he would any pack mate from Blood Moon. "She sounds like a great hero." He finally barked. "I wish I could have known her."

Myria had not been expecting to have her muzzle cleaned, and she could practically feel her brain lighting up and then stop functioning. I haven't had anyone clean my muzzle since I left my homeland...just a pack mate, just a packmate. the thoughts became a mantra while her brain re-booted.
She was. She was like the heart of the pack. She was a great beta, and a better warrior. Myria managed to get out the words without any suspicious squeaks or pitching.

Balor's whiskers twitched as Myria's scent changed slightly. He shrugged it off and yawned a little not missing that lilac ghost again. "Only the best for my brother." He barked instead of commenting. "I'm ready to go back I think. I promise I won't bite your alpha's head off, but I doubt you'll be able to stop her again." He barked with a wink as he shook out his muddy fur and waited for the higher rank to lead them back home.

The grey wolf nodded before padding forward and away from the clearing, her ears and eyes watching for any monsters.

Balor cocked his head at Myria's quick descent from speaking to silence. "What no quip? No tease Hey wait for me!"
