Shadow watched as the other wolves went out of the den. She didn't want to howl with the pack. How could she be celebrating when she was busy morning? Her feelings were mixed. She was proud that Nightshade gave her life defending her pack but she was sad that died doing so. Shadow whimpers and backs further into her dark corner.

Chase sniffed the air to make sure there was no danger. When he looked inside all he could see was the healer curled up in a corner of the den and the faint sight of Shadow in the darkest corner of it. 'Where is everybody?' He wondered as he padded inside and curled up in the center of the den. He soon drifted off to sleep, his snores echoing loudly in the emptiness.

Myria made her way to the new den, her paws dragging in the dirt after Alira's trial. The wind brought an unfamiliar scent towards the beta. It's coming from within the den... Myria skulked into the den, only to be greeted with someone's rather loud snoring. The beta blinked before moving towards the sound's source: a white wolf.
At first Myria thought it was Sigurd, but this wolf was different. Myria passed her nose lightly over the wolf's forehead, scenting him. He smells vaguely familiar...
The grey wolf sat on her haunches before backing up as the male appeared to awaken, only to fall back asleep. Furrowing her brow, the beta placed a paw over his jaw, effectively restraining him from snapping at her before she lowered her muzzle to his ear.
Who are you, and why are you sleeping in our den?

Luna woke to the sound of snoring,and slowly stood up,stretching. She needed that nap. She noticed Myria,who was talking to- Chase!? Luna darted over to her beta and the wolf she had played with at the Falls Den.

Myria glanced down as she saw Luna barreling towards her. The white wolf had failed to awaken, so Myria kept her paw over his jaw, preparing to restrain him if he made a move to attack.

Luna stopped,and looked down at Chase,then Myria. She never knew that Chase knew how to get here. Though she knew it was stupid,the young wolf sat looking back down at Chase. Don't you like Chase? she mumbled,nudging Myria's paw.

The beta glanced at Luna, her amber eyes blinking once.
You know this wolf? the beta questioned. She was still apprehensive, so her paw remained, despite Luna's nudges.

Luna nodded to Myria's question,looking up at her. Yeah. He played with me,Shadow and Kit at the Fall's Den.

Myria regarded Luna for a moment, knowing she wasn't lying.
I see. I have not met him, which is why I was restraining him...though, from the looks of it, he's quite a heavy sleeper. Now that you mention it...I do believe I remember watching him play with you pups... Myria chuckled.
I wish to speak with Revera and Rayne; however, I know that they are most certainly grieving right now. I'm sure a chance will present itself once they are ready to return to the den. For now...I suppose we'll wait and see if this Chase fellow wakes up. The grey beta removed her paw before sitting on her haunches.

Luna smiled,then taking in everything the beta had said,cocked her head to the side. Grieving? she repeated,her ear twitching. Why would they be grieving? What happened? Luna looked down at Chase,then back at Myria.

(Transition from Lake.)
Sigurd had trudged his way back from the lake, grudgingly working his way back to the den. He took his time to reach the den, wandering the woods, deep in thought. Slowly, he made his way up the rocky path to the entrance of the den.
As Sigurd was padding into the den, he caught the scent of the familiar wolf from before. Sigurd followed the scent to Chase, and the others around him. He stood over Chase, sighing in disapproval before moving over next to the wall of the cave and sat down, watching Chase closely. "We really need to tighten our security. Any wolf we don't know needs to be detained, and held for questioning." He muttered to himself.

Myria mentally cursed herself.
I believe that is something for your parents to tell you. I feel it is not my place to say.
Myria glanced over at Sigurd, smiling at his mumblings.
He was being restrained earlier...but he can apparently sleep through having pressure put on his jaw. Luna claims he has played with her before, in the old den. the grey wolf informed him.
How...is Revera? Myria questioned, guilt gnawing at her insides from her outburst during the trial.

Sigurd continued to stare at Chase, glaring at his sleeping form. "I don't appreciate strange wolves coming into our den and just making themselves comfortable. If it were me, I would sleep outside of the entrance, or sit and wait patiently for the Alpha to speak with me. When I first came here, I was greeted by Rayne, and told to leave. I asked if first I could get a drink, and was kindly directed to the lake by one of the pups. I then ran into Revera at the lake, so I got lucky with my meeting." He said as he looked at Myria finally.
Sigurd turned his gaze back to Chase, "He shows he has no respect for this pack by just wandering right into our den. If others don't take us seriously, neither will the Kings, and they will try to walk all over us."
Taking a deep breath, Sigurd breathed out his anger, looking at Myria, "Revera is doing her best. She's remaining strong through this turbulent time. I'm proud of how strong she's being for all of us. If it were me in her position, I would have lost it, and started performing nightly raids on the Kings', taking one member each night in retaliation. I was considering it, but thinking of Revera made me keep hold of my honor instead of casting it off."

Myria nodded at the larger white wolf, understanding his position.
Believe me, I've attempted to wake him up. The only reason he didn't become acquainted with my teeth is due to Luna barreling at me once she woke from her nap. He smells...odd. the beta wrinkled her nose, before nudging the sleeping male with her paw again.
How did this wolf survive on his own for so long....he sleeps as if he were dead. the grey wolf shook her head before allowing her amber eyes to fixate on Sigurd once again.
I believe we are all not ourselves right now...when did I get so soft? the amber eyed wolf muttered the last part to herself before standing.
I will return later. Look after Luna, please. Myria nodded at Sigurd before shooting the sleeping Chase another look. Shaking her head, the grey beta left the den, letting her paws carry her where they willed.
